Films by and about US immigrants and refugees: New Immigrant and Refugee Visions

New Immigrant and Refugee Visions (NIRV) is a messaging project designed to inform US public opinion about the experience of new immigrants and refugees. CSFilm trained ten new immigrants and refugees from ten different countries of origin to produce a series of short non-fiction films that amplify their stories and perspectives.

In the current climate of anti-immigrant sentiment among some US communities, these films provide a unique view into the integration challenges faced by immigrants and the contributions they make to our culture, economy and social fabric.
